I can't find any info on RS identification on that page. Do I need the VIN to get engine info?

Are you trying to find out about the engine or if it’s an RS? The RS was an appearance package available with any engine.

Hey Steve,

Both actually. I don't have any pics. Just went and looked it. It has hidden headlamps and RS emblems. Engine is a SB, but I can tell is a later year. Has TH400, probably not orginal either. I'm on my phone,and a bad connection. Was hoping for some help and info.😁

TT will not tell you engine size, VIN will, 3rd digit is a 4 it's a V8, 3rd digit a 3, it was a 6 cylinder

Trim tag has a 3L on it. Its an RS for sure. Marina Blue also. Great color. The VIN wil only tell if it was a 6 cyl or a 327 at this point. Not an SS for sure.

The only thing that doesn't match. I don't remember seeing AC on the car. Also thought I saw 2M could be either powerglide or TH 400?

Guess it is factory ac car. The controls must have been changed.

A TH400 would have only been available on a factory big block SS.
