The ford 9" housing I got from quick performance is used and pitted from rust.
I dont feel comfortable grinding all the rust spots out because it might make the housing too thin.
Is it possible to use body filler to fill the pitted spots in or is there something I could use for higher heat applications?
I assume the housing was sand blasted before they painted it because there is no rust in the pits after I ran over it with a wire wheel and no rust has appeard on the housing surface, Ive had it for about a year and half now.
