On the build sheet that came from my '70 it reads XXX Customer Order on the lower right. Did every build sheet have this? What did it read when a dealer ordered a car just to be put on the lot? Just curious.

Not every buildsheet had this. Like you suspect, it was only on the customer order cars. There may have been some dealers that put their orders in as a customer's, possibly to get faster service.
