Guys I need some help...

I just recently purchased a 1967 Chevelle Malibu. The vin # is 136177K104977. I'm trying to research the history of this car and find out what dealership it was delivered to from the factory. I know the build sheet would tell me what I need to know but I have checked above the gas tank and also behind the back seat and found nothing.

Can anybody help me get the info I need?

They put them other places so keep looking. Keep in mind that a previous owner may have discarded it. I purchased a new `67 SS396. While running wires for rear speakers I found the build sheet stuffed into the springs of the passenger side bucket seat. After a quick glance, I threw it away.

The build sheet was NOT intended to be left with the car, and in many cases (most?) it was simply thrown away at the factory.

The buildsheet will also NOT tell which dealership the car was destined for or any history, just what options were factory installed...

Does you car have any interesting options you need to document?
