Bucket seat conversion question

A friend of mine recently bought a 70SS454 4speed Chevelle. The car was originally a 4spd bench seat car. Someone switched it to buckets. He wants to install a factory console. Will the 4spd console fit without any floorboard modifications or is there a difference in the hump for a console vs non console car?

Might also need a carpet replacemnt.

The carpet for an AT trans will work just fine
