I was curious if any body knew a easy way to make my brake lines shine again like new. I hate to have to spend the money on new ones because the budget went out the door before I even started. I am not doing a show resto but would still like to make them look good. Chris

ROOP,(just like BillK, I wish you guys had names) If the brake lines are really rusty, replacement is best, but steel wool and then some clear coat spray would probably work and removal/reinstallation may be necessary and rebleeding of the system. For replacement, I recommend Right Stuff Detailing; www.rightstuffdetailing.com

Thanks leo. I will most likely replace the 2 lines from the master to the distribution block(?)and the ones at the wheels. BTW, I always sign my posts at the end! Chris

Micky,
What do you charge to get a brake booster redone for a 70 SS?

To do any booster along with lid and pv bracket we do for $125 plus shipping. 2-3 week turn normally. We take master and visa along with pay pal too, makes it easy. If you need parts for it, extra charges apply of course. At this time I dont have many extra nice cores so the better you have the better it will turn out. thanks.
