So as the title says what's a set of small tubes worth in ET not dyno numbers? the 3600# car has a mid 12 second peanut port mild 454 but it has 2 1/8" hooker super comps with 3.5" collectors that i want to get rid of anyway because it's just hard to do anything without them being in the way! so my real question is will the 1 3/4" headman's pick up the ET any and what do you guys believe it's actually worth? i do know there are things that help with ET and don't show much on a dyno and vice versa!

I've seen some pretty drastic differences on the dyno between different headers. Could be as much as 5% or more, which is 40hp on an 800hp engine or almost 25hp on a 600hp engine.
Here's a graph of a 900hp pump gas big block with a big set of old school Pro Stock Hookers with 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" pipes vs a set of custom 2-1/4 x 3-1/2 Lemons. Biggest difference was 40hp but almost 35 lbs ft and 37+ hp average from 5000-7000 so yeah, headers can make a BIG difference.
