Shut it down and don't run it until you investigate further. Is it the entire balancer that's moving around, or just the outer ring? Is there a knocking noise due to this problem? Is the balancer matched to the crank. 383 cranks can be had as either internally or externally balanced units, but you have to make sure you install the appropriate balancer.
