I'm guessing he is asking because the balancer will not go on far enough.
They go on easier If you warm them up with a heat gun and hang a bag of ice on the crank snout. I also put some anti-seize on the crank just before installing.
Until it stops
Distance from the crank snout to the face is .580" & should be pretty close
From the crank to the step where the washer goes is .060 but this may vary a little between damper brands
Put a little RTV on the keyway, both on the balancer and crank. Stops oil from wicking through.
