Hey Steve, sorry to bug you at home tonight - it was good talking to you though!
I just wanted to let you know that I found the source of my leak. I dont use the kick down cable, when I got the tranny it was bolted in, but cut just above the plastic. I ran it like that for over a year and never had a leak. When i rebuilt it, I just put it back in the hole and left it alone. WELL, sometime during the cruise the remaining part of the cable came out, leaving a small hole in the top for the fluid to come out. I didnt see the where the leak was coming from until I jacked up the rear of the car and noticed fluid just flowing out. It had just the right angle to spray all over my headers like had happened during the cruise. I fixed the leak and will take it for a spin tomorrow. The top vent area was dry and showed no signs of leaking, so i guess it didnt overheat like I had initially thought, which is good. I just wanted to let you know.
Thanks!
