Im a knucklehead and prankster once in awhile, so if was my neighbor, I would go put up a few more signs on his house with hidden meanings, or go over the top on stuff.
Thought about that. In fact I was busting up laughing with my wife thinking about some new signs to put up. I don't want to instigate him even more.

I see you guys posting that this guy has the rights to put these signs up and do as he pleases in his own yard as long as no laws are broken. What about Alan's rights? What about his right to not live in fear of this guy doing something to harm his family? What about his right to not have his property value lowered because of this guy? You guys would think differently if this was your neighbor and your family was possibly at risk. Having rights violated is a two way street. Your rights shouldn't infringe on my rights.

It must suck to go through life terrified of gun cases in an open garage. :clonk:

Seriously... gun CASES.

What the heck is anyone here afraid of?

No wonder this country's going down the toilet so fast, everyone's willing to give away their freedoms because of a few gun cases in a garage.

There is context, that seems to be forgotten.

Derek, maybe you should take a minute to actually read the original post by Alan. NO ONE said anything about being scared of "gun cases" or guns. The neighbor is the issue here.

I see this thread being moved to CE very soon.

I've read it several times, and see a whole lot of over-reacting.

Seriously, who calls the FBI on a guy who hasn't broken a law?
He mentions that the cops have been there, but no mention why...

Judging from the sign calling the neighbor a snitch, he's putting the signs up to irritate a neighbor who won't mind their own business. I say good for him, I'd probably do the same (but with better spelling, no Jesus references, and more easily removable than paint :D )

There's a reason I don't live in town.

I called the FBI to express concern that I think this person could go ballistic and asked them for advice. I feel this is a proper action due to the fact that so many people are going on shooting sprees. I was not involved in the police interaction so I don't know the specifics. I can tell you that nobody on my street has had the cops out 15 times or more. None of this crap happened before SONOFGOD moved in. This is about more than signs on someone's house.

is his name Paul, did he move from Missouri, and does he talk about black suburbans and jet contrails that are going the wrong way?

Alan, go to one of the Scottsdale city council meetings(find out who represents your neighborhood)-and sign up to talk in the public forum part of the meeting. We had a neighbor who lived about 15 houses down the street that had a kid (17 year old) who would randomly threaten people saying he was going to shoot them.

We did what I suggested below-and the police (who originally said that they couldn't do anything-unless something happened (sound familiar?)) ended up going to this guys house every other night (reverse harassment?) until the family got tired of it and moved. Problem solved-at least for us.

So....

Go with a bunch of pictures and also take some letters from concerned neighbors-even better, have some of the neighbors show up and speak as well. Video could help as well...You each get a few minutes to speak-so make the best of it.

The police chief is usually at these meetings-so your message will go right to the top. I assume that your business is in Scottsdale as well, if so, that's even better.

Make the city aware of what's happening-and ask them what they are going to do. See if that helps at all.

Unless you've had a neighbor like this-you have no idea...:beers:
This.

And since he is well known by the cops, calling the cops on a more regular basis when he does his stop, go stop, go, thing will also help. Kind of one of those squeaky wheel gets the grease things, cops may not do anything at first but most cities have ordinances in place that if cops are constantly getting complaints about the same residence. They have consiquences in place to help solve it. You need to find out if other neighbors are having the same concerns you are.

block party!!

Be nice to him, he could simply be a pedophile.
that's unpossible... he has bible passages on his house and custom Christian license plates...

unless he looks like this:

in which case, he's a war hero that fought the Nazis and spent time in a concentration camp...

At least he wears his crazy out in the open, it's the nutters that conceal it that bother me. Be thankful you don't live next to collage students, little bastards.

I am not losing any sleep over this guy. It is just getting kind of old. He needs to buy a Chevelle to get more perspective on life.:)

.every two weeks there's a sign out by the main road for "free kittens", "Free rabbits etc...cause they don't spay their pets and every animal is a "gift from god"..His family tree has a solid 3 branches on it...the old family gene pool needs a little chlorine if you ask me..
