I just scored a pair of bfg drag radials (cheap) , i have used the m/t radials. Anyone compare the two ? I hope the bfgs are as good .

NO Comparison, M/T's will out hook a BFG, like a BFG out hooks a normal street tire.

I don't know why but I kept blowing those tires off the line through the '60 ft mark w/my 454HO and a stick. Probably would of worked better with an auto.

As long as there cheap, run 'em!

Don't get too discouraged, they are still a decent tire, just not the at the top of the list. It's not a problem to run mid to high 1.5 60ft's depending on the setup. I also feal they wear out quicker then the M/T's.

Drage radials suck with stick cars.

MT even recomends their DRs not to be used with stick cars. DR's also take a lot more chassis work/tuning to hook.

That being said, a properly set up (auto) car will be quicker and safer with dr's over bias ply slicks.
