Looking at my manual, this alternator was used on several makes/models. 7L22 is November 22nd, 1977.

'73-'85 Buick Apollo, Century, Electra, Estate Wagon, Lesabre, Riviera, Skylark, '73-'85 Chevrolet Bel Air, Camaro, Corvette, Malibu, Nova, etc. It was also used on Light Duty trucks. '73-'82 Blazer, C, K, etc.

4.4L (267cid), 5.0L (305cid), 5.7L (350cid). This is just to name a few. There are several others listed that used this alternator.

Thanks for that Ethan, No need. I was just wondering if it fits something folks here are working on. I do have an 80 GMC, so I should keep it
