I tried to download Adaware to my father in laws computer today. He is running Windows 98 with AOL. I tried the download from both CNET and Geek-something or other. Same result each time. A Real Player download window would open up, but it would not download any files. Percentage Complete stayed at 0%. The RealPlayer is fine as I downloaded several other things.
Does AOL have some kind of a block that I'd need to turn off? Any ideas? Is there another program that will search out spyware and will work with AOL? Thanks.
