We got a lot done yesterday, but not so much that is obvious.
The plumbing for the right oil cooler, which runs from inside the engine nacelle back the into the wing, was installed and we got the right oil cooler positioned in the wing (it weighs about 75lbs).
Notice how spotless, clean and painted everything is inside the wing. This is just one of the things that is not readily visible. This is the sort of thing that has taken MANY, MANY manhours to accomplish.
This is the outlet at the rear of the oil cooler. The opening/closing of the door is controlled by the flight crew. This regulates airflow through the cooler.
Our electrician (he's 81) is a retired FAA electrician with an incredible amount of experience wiring all kinds of airplanes. He comes up from Dallas every 2-3 months and is able to work circles around most 25yr old men. If it's hot inside the plane, he just needs a fan for air circulation.
He is doing some final wiring and installing cables from the avionics rack to the various antennas, such as the new comm/nav and glide slope antennas that I recently installed.
