Hello, I just purchased a 68 chevelle malibu and this is going to be our family project car. One of the first things that needs to happen, since we live in Texas, is add air conditioning. Can anyone tell me what other vehicles I might be able to find at the junkyard that had the same setup as on a 68 chevelle? Thanks for your help.

I don't have a whole lot to spend right now and I know Vintage Air complete kits can be pretty expensive. I was just wondering, since I don't have anything, if other a/c boxes from other year GM cars would bolt in.

Who do you recommend for aftermarket parts? Is vintage air the only one who makes them? I thought I could pull a complete system from a different car and just purchase a new compressor, evap. core, dryer, etc. from the parts store. That way I can run the R134 freon. These other year GM cars will bolt in?
