Bottom of the battery tray/inner fender.

 

Driver side mount at the front inner fender bolt. Just took mine off yesterday!

 

Thanks Gents. So what you are saying is the top part or the brace should connect to what is most likely and existing bolt on the inner fenders? The braces I bought are about 12" long. Did I get the correct ones?Thanks. Ted

seems like you got the right ones as they are about a foot long

Heres the pass. side. And to tell you the truth I'm not 100% sure thats the correct hole to attach brace. It was the only hole that the brace fit properly and the important part, secure.

I have mine on this same bolt both sides. What does that battery tray have to do with it? The distance is the same on both sides to the same bolt, and the supports are the same length.

 

Rich,thank you Sir. This is a big help. On the passenger side I think yours is correct. I read somewhere that it goes to a bolt on the bottom of the battery tray which I think thats what your picture shows. By the way I like the color of your ride. Same as mine. Ted

 

Man I am a retard, I just ordered and picked up brand new fenders supports, and I am not running inner fenders! So these parts are deemed useless!

 

Just your pass side won't work. Unless your talking a different year chevelle
But I'm sure you could custom make a round bar brace to fit.

 

Not mine, it won't reach the bolt your talking about on pass side. Maybe I have the wrong support. Came with the car. Maybe the Taiwan people put the hole in the fender in the wrong spot..
The important thing is the fender don't budge
