my 70 SS el camino runs hot. in the cool mornings with the a/c on it will stay a ~180 as it has a 180 deg thermostat in it. as the outside temp goes up and i have the a/c on it will keep climbing to past 230 then i have to turn off the a/c. even with the a/c off sitting at a stop sign it will start to boil out of the over flow tank. i have a stock shroud with a 18" stock fan blade which is half way into the shroud. new fan clutch and timing set at 37 deg total advance. any ideas what to try? does anyone know of a different fan shroud that covers the entire radiator?
