Hey I am converting a 1970 Chevelle from an A/C car to a non A/C car. My question has to deal with the interior of the car. When I pull the kick panels and replace them with the non A/C kick panel will the vent flaps be behind my A/C kick panels? Or will I need to do some serious mods to the interior of the car behind the kick panels? Are non A/C and A/C cars basically the same behind the kick panels?
P.S. Does anyone know how good the repro kick panels are?
I would also like to know if the air vent for the fresh air has the closable flap on the A/C cars or would I need to add that? Or is this not the same as a non A/C car? What mods am I looking at to change this out?
