I recently replaced the dash on a 69 project I'm working on and also replaced all the forward wiring harnesses. What I've got is the wiper switch operating opposite to what it should be, on is off and off is on now. I've changed out the switch, and wiper motor with known used 69 Chevelle parts and still get the same result.

The pump and washer operate normally, but in reverse. The wiring is correct, as checked by wiring diagrams and previous posts on Team Chevelle.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Phil I had the same problem with mine when I put my car back together and it was a one of the wires were flipped over in reverse that connect to the wiper motor. I think it was the black plastic one that has 2 wires that plug into the motor Here is a picture of mine I hope it helps you.

Thanks for your input. I discovered that I had installed an incorrect switch. Not even sure what it was out of. When trouble shooting, I neglected to ground the test switches, which gave me improper wiper motor operation as well. I put a correct switch in and it works fine now.
