I have a 68 factory gauge insert that I would like to sell. It has the speedo and then to the right it has the factory gauges with clock in the center. It does not have the tach. The unit is driver quality and would need restored for any show car. Does anyone know what these are worth. I heard they are hard to come by.

Thanks,

Clint

These are ridiculously priced (IMO) at $1600 with a small block tach. The tach is the major component that folks are looking for so the value will drop a bunch without it, since it's not reproduced. There were no clusters built with just the gauges. The option U14 included the gauges, clock, and the tach. The tach was probably removed to be sold separately.
Value?? My guess would be $150~$200.

I have a 68 and I bought a nice bezel. IF i was still fixing it up (was not a resto, cool driver that spins much tires when I drive it) I would easily have given you $500-750 for it.

I went the route of a nice used eBay bezel for $100, $90 for a cluster, $314 shipped for the Ausleys 69 gauge swap. Anyone who knows their salt picks it out of the crowd for the gauges. I do regret doing it.

And the tachs usually hit $300 nice.

Clint said "gauge insert" which I assumed was just the gauge panel, not the entire bezel. If he meant the entire gauge/bezel assembly, it would be worth more, based on the condition of the bezel.
