I am wondering if anyone has experience disassembling the and cleaning the frame mounted distribution block and fluid switch? Mine is brass on my 68 ss.
The reason I ask is that I want to convert to dot 5 silicone this winter and am wondering what the rubber content of the switch and block is and how well it can be cleaned of old glycol based fluid residue. So far I see inline tube is the only source of a repro block and its pricey.
