Does anyone know if the original quarter panel supports will work on repop quarters and the outer fenderwells? Also did any of you put in the the other supports? I'm just about ready to try it next weekend but any input would be great, thanks.

Are you talking about that curved piece in your hand? I put both quarters on my car. The passender side,I had to repair the lip of the wheelhouse, and didnt put that piece back on after repairing. The drivers side I didnt do any wheelhouse work, and just replaced the quarter there. Both sides had no problems. Hope this helps you out.??

Yes the part in may hand in the first two pictures. the other one also but they would only be replaced if you do full quarters only. I'm hpoing they fit so it will help stiffen up the new quarters.
FYI, i have golden legion quarters and they mic .033, the roof i just got from AMD mics .038.

does everyone have those? I'm not sure sure how original my quarter or wheelhouses are but I don't have those on my car. I'm doing a full quarter on my 67 convertible using golden Legion full quarter and a golden legion outer wheelhouse (grafting a hardtop outer wheelhouse on since they don't make convertible specific wheelhouses). I think that likely all brands are pretty thin compared to original, but I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with how well the quarter fits.

i would guess that all 67's have them, but this is the first time i ever did this so i dont know. i didnt ask my body guy but he knew to save them so i would say he has seen this before. my car was all original when i took it apart and not all hacked up, just rusted unfortunately.
yes, i agree the quarters do fit pretty good.

All 64-67 Chevelle 2-doors had those pieces on the wheel houses. I'm not sure, but I think their purpose was to help catch any water that comes down from the quarter window and route it down to the drain in front of the wheel house (in the rocker), rather than allowing it all to run down into the pinch weld between the quarter and wheel house, or back into the trunk. Since you have it and it appears to be useable I would certainly put it back rather than leaving it off.

The other two pieces you show were on all 66-67 coupes, and basically they reinforce those two areas and help tie together all the various body pieces that meet there. Again, since you have them, I'd use them! No reason to build it back weaker than the General built her!
