Ive got that block over in my garage. I ran the numbers on it and there are 3 things that seem certain....1) its a 67.. 2) its a 327 .. and 3) its a 2 bolt engine. according to the source I found that engine was originally either 210 hp or 350 hp
would the cranks in those 2 have been the same ?? If thats the case then I suppose it doesnt matter wheather I have the one that was 210 HP or 350 HP because the heads arent on it anyway.

All 327's were 2 bolt mains and 67 was the last year of the small journal. All 327 small journals were steel forged cranks. My 68 L79 is a large journal forged crank but other then the L79 in 68 they were cast. In 67 the Chevelle 327 L79 was rated at 325hp even though it was the same engine as the Vette and Nova and was rated at 350hp. The engine pad will clearly tell you which block it is unless someone milled it off. There are other ways to tell as well. Google is your friend.
