Bolt right up. You need to use the upper arms from your 68-72 car. The lower arms are the same.

Oh yeah, one other thing. Your wallet may not like the price if you are looking for a 65-67 12 Bolt.

Why wont the upper arms cross over? I've got a 68 12 bolt I want to install in my 66 elco, do I need the uppers from a 68-72?

Glad I read this thread if so! Sorry for the hi-jack, but seems like you might have the same issue.

Thanks,

Brian

Not sure about El Caminos, but the length of the Upper arms is different on the 65-67 Chevelles. I believe the 68-72 Upper arms are longer.

Use the uppers from whatever car you're bolting into. If you're installing the rear into a 68, use the 68 uppers. The mounting points on the diff are the same, the locating points on the frame are what's different.
