I replaced a Powerglide with TH350 in a 66 El Camino a long time ago. I recall that I used the frame bracket and linkage from a later Chevelle (68 to 72 vintage) to make it work.
Exactly what I used on my '67 Malibu...went from an orig PG to a TH350 and now has a TH400.
Later Chevelle auto linkage works fine for both 3 speed trans.

Same location IIRC...been a few years but I would remember having to drill/tap holes.
In fact, I might have been able to use the original frame mounted bracket...

By any chance, did any of you look at the link to the item on ebay? Any thoughts? Thanks for all the replies too.
Yeah...looks like it will work but OUCH $$$ :(
The later model cross shaft rods just have a 90 degree bend on the tranny end and fit thru the holes of a simple [_] shaped bracket bolted to the tranny shifter stud.
