had the same problem with my 65. the lights are pressed in and i didnt do the ign my dad did that i think its just a few twists and your done i think.

Matt,
for the ignition switch, you'll need to push a firm piece of wire, or small drill bit into that small hole...and at the same time, turn the key ccw (I think). You pull on the key, and the guts come out. Then you can screw the bezzel off. This is described in the service manual if you have one.
For the light switch, take a pair of snap ring pliers or a pair of needle nose pliers...and unscrew the bezzel (nut). Use those 2 holes you mentioned. The switch can then be removed from the other side of the dash.
Hope that helps. If not, holler back.

For the light switch, there's a little spring loaded button on the backside of the dash... Pull the light switch "on" (out), then push on that little button, and pull the switch further at the same time... Then use the needlenose/snap ring pliers to spin the nut off...

If you have another light switch uninstalled, you can easily see the little button... Maybe go to the autoparts store and pretend you want to buy one and look at it... Pretty easy once you've done one...
