Can you guys (or gals) enlighten me on what sensors or adapters I will need to hook up my 64 Chevelles SS gauges to a 1969 350 (actually 382.6) block.

You will use the same ones that came from the original motor. You will need a temp sending unit, oil line connectors to connect to the back of the block just behind the distributor. There are no other engine sensors or sending units needed. However if you have changed to a higher amp. alt or gotten rid of your voltage regulator for an internally regulated alternator, you will have to do something for your ammeter (amp guage).

The engine itself should be immaterial. I'd think the sender should go to the gauges.

This post has a photo of the shunt that Rod is talking about. Look and see if it's still in place. I understand.....don't know for sure.....that it is required to be used with the factory ammeter. Someone else is bound to know for certain.

Danny, that is the only guage I don't have that could work in my car. If I knew for a fact that I could use that resistor in my setup it would be great to have. I dont currently have any of the three guages connected but can connect the oil guage just need to buy the line, I need to get a temp unit for my temp guage, and need to find out a little more about the ammeter 0 center volt meter.
