I do have to ask....and others have mentioned it: where did you get that run stand at?

It's-a-nice!

Thanks. I designed the stand myself about 11 years ago when I started building engines. I just built this second one on January (the first still has a 454 on it from my 70). It is designed to collapse to be stored under a bench or against a wall. With materials and gauges, it cost about $350 to $400 to build. I spent an extra $100 to have this one powder coated.

If you are interested, I sell the plans for it on eBay.

Very, very impressive....especially how it collapses like that.

I'm borrowing a run stand now that was free....but nowhere near as flexible as yours. I can tell a lot of time and thought went into that stand. It has a lot of the little things right...that all add up.

Best of luck!

Very sharp car!

If you're going to take it to the track (and I think you kind of HAVE to with that motor) leave the TH-400 in the car.

I have a very simplistic "if you're going to race a street car in the 1/4 mile, run a TH-350 or TH-400" philosophy. It's not for everyone, obviously....but it works for me. I've got to imagine that you're an 11 second car now....if you can hook up/launch the car. :)
