My two row is killing my car. I get up to 220 and climb higher on a hot enough day. Which as of late is everyday. I wish I ran 195...
I was looking into another radiator as well, and looked at the 3 and 4 row replacements, and the aluminums as well. From what I have learned, the bigger the surface area, the least airflow restriction, and the least amount of passes is the best. The 1" to 1½" tubed 2 row aluminum radiators are said to run cooler than the 4 rows which only have ½" tubes, and more of an air flow restriction.
Believe me, I have been up and down this topic, as when I lay the cash down, I do not want to second guess my selection. I am still debating and trying to decide wisely. My car is a 65, which has a smaller radiator area, from you guys with the 68's on up. So the surface area is smaller. So I have went back and forth on the 4 row-aluminum choice...Man...when will it end!
