i just put my 66 on the road after did a frame off but still need a paint job and install the interior. my set-up is a 496 with a 2004r. i have a rev max torque converter with a 3200 (i believe) stall. The torque converter was speced as a street car by REV MAX. my problem is it takes to long to shift at slower speeds really winds out in first. the tranny is from a 86 Monte Carlo SS. i figured i would use this one and then get a built one later. i used a 700r TV cable from a truck and have a geometry corrector on a Holley 770. i set the TV cable tight at full throttle. i got rid of the throttle rod and installed a GM cable throttle. I tryed a couple settings with the TV cable but need some direction here. i did not do a pressure test for the TV cable yet.
