That's a really good question. Asked myself that many times. They gave us a red oil pressure warning light that when it comes on its usually too late.

 

My ‘70 did. We’ll, actually had it converted to oil pressure.

I like that. Who pays any attention to an amp gauge anyway.

 

The gauges were an option!!

 

Always were a separate option and were available without the SS option.

 

No oil pressure guage

 

No matter what option you selected there was still no oil pressure gauge.

 

There was only one gage package option.

 

Tuchman made a oil pressure gauge to replace the ammeter.
