Safety Precautions for Kids and Cats with Possible Wasp or Bee Nest in Loft

Hi can any 1 help me plz,
I am trying to find out what to do to safe guard my 5yr old & my 3 cats against what I have I beleive either wasp or bees nest in my loft I am terrified of both but they are so far up in the roof cavity I can't see what is what I have 2 wait 5 days b4 I get pest control in up to then I can't seem to find out what precations to ensure safety to my son & animal's I know it seems a silly question but I really don't know what to do be coz I am so scared of both I never really liked asking questions about them till now!!!

I thank u 4 reply but as I only joined yesterday I was unaware of site headings I found reply's were rather rude although not saying ur's waz, but I really did not no but as they say we all gotta learn in new sites pity the replyers didn't know manners r important as computor bugs

Angie: Your question was not an ordinary one. Your reply that Team Chevelle members were "rude" seems a rather rude response on your behalf. You got answers to your poorly expressed question while using very poor english etiquette. Keep an open mind. You have no complaint. Jon

Get some Bug-B-Gone type wasp & insect killer. Its a spray, that has a good shooting distance. It kills wasps nearly instantly. If you can locate the nest, give it a good spray and scram, as it stirs the nest. I haven't had any problems spraying them point blank, that is until yesterday. I sprayed a nest when they were awake (best to do it when they are sleeping), and one stung me.

Other way is avoid them best as possible, leave them alone and they'll leave you alone. That shouldnt be terribly difficult for 5 more days.

I am not aTransvestite as you so rudely wrote I am from England but I am not any different from you I don't make comments about where people come from I sugest you keep your nasty comments to your self I asked a simple question I also made a mistake about the room I was in but that gives you or any one else to make rude comments it justs proves that there are some reallt ignorant people in this world you sir are 1 of them I appreciate the help from the nice people pity you don't try to be like them!!!! might prove to hard though for you. I am leaving this site I will also tell others in the system stay away from here because you are bound to end up with replies from people like you.

There are always going to be a few people that post without thinking or say things without thinking for that matter.

I don't have any idea where the "transvestite" idea came from but I suspect that you were mistakenly thought to be a troll or something.
Maybe it was a misinterpreptation of something you put in your profile under "currently own"
everything except me car, I want 2 use as granny flat but mum is refusing ( ha ha )

Well, right forum or not, you got one piece of good advice. At least here in the US you can buy a spray can that shoots a narrow stream a good distance. The insecticide has a fast "knock down". You use it in the early evening when the wasps have returned to the nest and are not that active. You soak the nest and it kills them all. If you can't see the nest, spray the area you see them around.

Once you get that problem under control, go read up on Chevrolet Chevelles, maybe buy one, and come back and talk about cars with us.

Most of us are pretty good Yanks, some from other places, but no one meant any harm I'm sure.
