Maryland Chevelle Club Show After Action Report
I just got back and it rained for two and half hours out of the three it takes to get back home. Saturday began a little flaky in the morning, as it was drizzling a little, but it got better for most of the day. Chevelles bagan to show up early in the morning. The show field terrain was very good. The sun came out and it was very muggy, but everyone was enjoing the Chevelles and the company. A few new Chevelles made their dubut during this show. Good bargains on the used parts section. There was a guy who did not get to unload what he was selling. It got sold before it got unloaded. There is a child who might be banned from future hula-hoops competition. He is just, too good!!!!! LOL
Albert's COPO is just an amazing car. Perfect in every detail. The sound with the Chamber exahust is phenomenal. It sounds like a true racing car. Rich R. 70 was another spectacular car. So good it had a buyer, a serious buyer. Bill's 68 another spectacular car w/ attention to details.
It began to rain at 5:00 right before the cruise. We left at 5:45 for a 35 minute ride. Chuck got in the back of an El Camino to take pictures. Dinner was good for just $3.00.
Sunday began with rain and like Albert was saying, "They are opening the spiket more and more." It rained all morning and the trailer queens remained in the trailers. Except for two of them who had to be re-judged due to a tie. Kudos to the judges because it was not an easy job. Chuck and LaRae were friendly as usual.
Bill, Rich R.it was a pleasure meeting you. Rich R and Ed Pienta hope you enjoyed the documentation.
The was a trailer stolen from the hotel. It had a LS-6 inside. I really don't know all the details, but I heard the owner had it for the last 20 years. Some how you guys need to do something to the trailers and trucks to avoid this type of incident. Don't know if the owner had it on an agree valued of the car or where the insurance company will determine howmuch they think it's worth.
Dave, you have one awesome 72. My daughters voted for it on Sunday.
To all of you who attended thank you and hope to see you next year.
BTW, I sold $400.00 worth of parts and bought $80.00 from our sponsor.
Rick E. it looks like you are treating the proportion valve way to good as it does not want to leave your garage.
