Won "Best GM" at a show today!!

If this is the wrong forum please feel free to move it. I'm not much for car shows, but a customer of mine that helps with the show asked me to enter. I dropped the car off at 11:30 this morning and came back home to get caught up on some things around the house. I lost track of time and showed up right after the awards ceremony to get in my car and leave. This guy walks up to me and says, "Is that your elcamino?" I said yes. "Well we've been looking for you. You won Best GM". I was a little surprised. There were some very nice GM cars there. It is not that big of a show but it makes me feel good. Just had to share. Scott
P.S. the steel wheels/dogs were a hit. Scott

It is alway great to get a bit of recognition for all of the time and work spent on a ride you own. Congratulations.

Scott, It doesn't matter how big or small the show.....you got best GM because you got a nice Elky. Congrad's

hahah damn nice car. you should enter it in more shows!!! my elky is no where close to yours and i get complements on it all the time!!! haha so what does that tell ya about elkys? hahaahha nice job man

Congrats... After all that Camino's been thru, it's quite an achievement.

Of course you had a huge advantage going in with the much
sought after 68. :thumbsup:

...but I had to cringe when I read, you left the car there and went home.
Don't know if I would do that again!!

Nice! The only award I would win at a show is "Most likely not to start".

I like your wheels/caps, are the original? It's a classic look that im diggin!

Don't worry Bill, It was safe. I knew a few people there that kept a real close eye on it. In fact they were parked real close to me.
