I would restore it to original condition with original parts.

the car is in great shape no rust one oner have a oil change sticker deated 6 23 70 it had 42k on it i hade it at cbo4 i think it was the one with all the outher l79

They're only original once. If it's in even halfway decent shape it'd be a shame to destroy the originality.

I agree, if its that clean leave it alone. I should have read your question slower before I responded the first time. No doubt if its really nice original leave it be, if its been painted then no harm in full blown resto. Can you post some pics?

If I were fortunate enough to find a one owner, original car, I would keep that car all original. A car is only original once, after you change things or start restoring it, you will never be able to say "it's original".
Best thing to do is sell it to me, that way you won't have to worry with making decisions about what to do.
