What is a fair price for a `70 Chevelle NOS right front fender these days?

Ok, that's a bit too fair I think as I don't find any for sale near that.
I saw one sell for over $850 recently, and another up for sale on Ebay for $1900, which is too high.

LH or RH?
If you're asking which side I saw sell or ask those prices, then I'm making all comparisons against the right hand.
So, what is a "real" selling or asking price for a RH NOS 70 Chevelle fender?

I think asking a grand to start with and take $850-900. If you had a pair they would be worth more.

Thanks Dave,
I appreciate your learned opinion.
The shop only needs the right side, so I happen to have an extra that I'm willing to sell.

Yea I'd say in the $8/900 range. When I was looking for a set for my 69 they were around $1000 a peice
Thanks Mike.
The 69's usually sell for less, depending if they are the early or late versions.

I am of the opinion that the best looking and most intelligent of the male species own 69 Chevelles.:D

Brad,

You are 100% correct :)

Dan

Alright, fellow 1969-ers: please educate me.

Are there really early and late versions of the front fenders....and what, exactly are the differences?

My apologies for the tangent......

Let's not agitate the 70-72 guys too much. I'm sure it wouldn't take long for them to throw out something about the "beauty" of a 454. :)

While I'm obviously biased towards 1969, I still find the 70-72 cars very attractive, with '71s being my next favorite. I love the deck stripes on those cars and the round tail lights.

But, one man's coffee is another man's tea.....

It's all in the eye of the beholder. Im partial to 70's of course. But I do have to admit your blue 69 is fine.:beers:
Thank you, Stoney.
