I am restoring a 1967 Chevelle that I bought with allot of parts missing. I need to know what hardware was used to hold on the upper switch panel. The plastic nuts are molded into the plastic panel and protrudes into the dash through large holes. There must be some kind of cone washer and a small screw that hold it in. Any help will be appreciated. I own a '66 Malibu which will be a blown tubed pro street car, A '66 SS ground up stock, a '66 over the top pro touring show car - almost complete, a '69 SS396 4 speed bucket seat car - in the process of restoration and for sale? My daily driver is a 2 door wagon - converted with El Camino doors. All have big blocks. So I need to know how the trim attaches, the only car that is assembled has some kind of button head, probably push pins holding it in. Yes I will start some build threads on my collection. Thanks, Scott

The upper trim uses regular screws with 1/4" hex heads and a bent clip... Just flat metal with a hole, and bent to put tension on the back of the dash...

Love to see pictures of your collection, especially the wagon... I have always wanted to build a 2-door wagon using the El Camino doors. I figured the curved rear of the door glass would look like the old 55-57 Nomads, rather than the angular frame on 64/65 2-door wagon doors...

Thank you, that exactly what I needed to know, makes sense now.
