Not too bad...Put license plates on it and go to A&W then I'll be impressed.;)
It's been a little while since I've spoken to Brad, but the car was tagged/insured and occasionly street driven with the old single turbo small block that ran mid-low 7's at 210MPH ;).

OH!.....ummmmmm...OK!I guess i'm impressed!

...BUT ONLY A LITTLE!:D

Brad Brand is the man! I saw his car at Dave Sheppard's shop getting up dated for the twins. All I can say is.....Holy Crap, what a beast. He went where few dare to roam, a big cubic inch motor with twins. Looks like he's running 2 sets of injectors to feed this animal......freakin unreal. These 10.5 Outlaw guy's are GOOD. Anybody seen Barfield's new ride?

Dan millen is running a turbo Mustang in 10.5 Outlaw here in Michigan. He ran 7.09 @204 and 7.11 at 207 this past weekend.

Definately impressive looking. I know they have the power to pull the additional weight, but I wonder how much additional weight the turbo(s), plumbing, intecooler, water tank, pumps, etc. all add to the vehicle weight. I used to think some of the multi stage nitrous engine compartments looked congested with all the lines/fittings, but these turbo guys have that beat for sure!

Sixes are possible with enough boost. Makes the motor think it's way bigger than it is. Local here, "Turbo Todd Kitchen" has similar H.P. and ran 7.25 @ 200 MPH at the last shootout race. Most of the turbo cars look soft for the first 20-30 feet or so then fly.

I agree, Harold. Brad had the 10.5 MPH record for quite a while with his last iteration in the same car (single turbo SBF). I think he went ~210MPH with a 5 speed manual. He used to run glides but they wouldn't hold up. I expect that this thing will be in the 6's at 210+ in VERY short order. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, either. Brad has helped me and numerous other racers in the area over the years. He likes and wrenches on all types of fast cars, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, don't matter (not sure about imports). He used to have a pretty fast supercharged 4th gen Camaro before he built the Stang. It's a fun car to watch. I prefer to do so from the top of the bleachers, though ;)
