My 68 SS 396 clone wiring harness on the car has a combo horn relay/buzzer that has a factory wire pink w/blk tracers that plugs into the relay on back side. That wire does not show on any factory schematic for that year-what does it do? It does show on full size chevy schematic?? Also there are 2 male connectors available with nothing attached. What are they for? Schematic shows voltage regulator but this car does not have it so I assume it has been converted to an alt w/ internal regulator where do I find that schematic? Thanks Mike:confused:

Mike,
The pink/black is the "trigger" for the key minder buzzer. A ground on this line makes the buzzzzzz.

They key must be inserted in the ignition switch with the switch in off or accessory AND the drivers door must be open to trigger the buzz. Black wire on door plunger switch ties into ignition switch assembly and leaves to go under the hood on the pink/black wire.
