I built this 1964 Tempest wagon back 15 years ago and put over 5000 miles on it. Sold it for $13000 (wayyyyy to cheap) 3 years ago to help pay doctor bills for a torn shoulder ligament and float my bills a few months while I didn't have gainful employment. They say its worth 25-35K NOW:sad:

Pestwagon (64Tempest wagon) has been spotted for sale in Scottsdale Arizona on this website. Wonder what she'll bring? It's a really strange feeling seeing a car you built on the internet for sale at an auction. Lots of sweat and time into that build...

It rides out really nice with the 2.56 gears, cruises all day at 70-75 mph. Vintage Air, disc brakes, sway bars, GTO tach (original one) , 326 HO motor (from a 67 Firebird I had) and mostly original interior.

no no no this wasn't a what its worth debate moderators this is a bench racing issue. Its all about how it FEELS to have a car you restored being sold later on for a lot more money than you sold it for before.
kinda like when I saw a girl I blew off in high school as the new weather girl. just tell yourself its rotting inside.......worked for me.

Wagons are strange, years back when they were everywhere they weren't cool and you didn't want to be in one.Now today they're cool again.Nice build.

Remember, three years ago the economy sucked even more than it does today. You may feel you sold it way too cheap, but that may have been what the market would bare at the time for a quick sale.

That about sums it up.

I say quit beating yourself up over it and just be thankful the ol girl was able to help you through a rough spell. I really like the white on red, same as my 65 impala.

It's really a shame that people try to make so much profit on these cars when they were only a couple thousand dollars in their days. Everyday I see Chevelles that sell from friends for around $26k to people who look like regular folks but end up being dealers and turn around to sell them for $50k which is ridiculous.
