66 Aztec Bronze cars are my favorite Chevelles. With that said, the highest I would go would be $25k. That's assuming the numbers aren't matching

It needs a bunch of detail work, plus the speakers in the door panels & package tray would have to go. Which means new door panels & a new package tray.

I'd also want the correct brackets under the hood, which would involve rewiring the alternator, etc.

I personally hate those wheels, so that's another thing that would need changing.

Strange that it has A/C heater controls & vent balls, but no other indications of A/C.

If you really like it, see if a member close by can take a look at it for you. If it all checks out, make him an offer.

Looks like it had a dash change, strange if the car is that nice??

Or it was a bench seat column shift car. The Malibu grile is another strange thing about the car

I offered him 25k, he wants more like 28-29k, I just dont see paying that much for it. I'll work on it some more. I really like the Aztec but honestly it being a 138 doesnt matter to me if it isnt matching numbers.

I love those wheels. They have the classic look and think they look very good on the car. So as far as that goes all I can say is different strokes for different folks. I think it is a very nice looking 66. Love the paint color as well. Looks like it has a couple issues here and there but all small/easy stuff to remedy. A real 138 car is a bonus and definitely adds to the value. If it is close to you I would take a look.
Odd there are no pics of the underneath. How old is the paint? The older the better.

IMO, he's on target with his pricing....always subject to inspection.

Here's another MM code car, same pricing but much less of a car.

Should have left that one a MM car. Probably better chance of getting asking price. Not diggin' the Maroon. OP car looks nice but there are some odd things mentioned earlier. Also, the rear emblems "appear" like they're mounted too high. Could be illusion or could have been added, or replaced quarters ?? Missing rear Chevelle emblem on trunk panel. Would like to see pics of trim tag and driver side vin tag. No mention of matching numbers so assume they are not. Still , nice CA car. Inspect in person...

This car looks very sloppy to me. Very poor reflection in the paint, emblems in the wrong locations, horrible stance, worn interior, etc. Looks like it was thrown together overnight to make a buck.

A sucker is born every minute, but to me this car isn't worth $20k.

The car is very sloppy, no clutch or brake pedal pads or even a ACCELERATOR PEDAL. The passenger side door gap looks pretty wide comparing it to the drivers side as well as the trunk lid gap on the drivers side. Has 67 Chevelle seats in the car, the list just keeps going on and on. Whoever built the car did not pay attention to close detail obviously. I can't see it selling for $32,500.

You're talking about the maroon car someone posted right?

The AB car is the wrong color for one thing. The paint is way too orange. Should be more brownish. Also drives me crazy to see the interior door tops painted the exterior color. ARRGGGGHHH !!!!!

Stick to your guns, $25 is plenty for that car, IMO.

Good luck!

Thanks I've been looking, not a lot going on. The last two were rust buckets and a few others were basically drag cars which I want nothing to do with either. Maybe when the weather gets nicer?

$25k you can get a GREAT looking car believe me. eBay will always be over priced and that's why it's good to buy on Craigslist and sell on eBay but every now and then you will see a nice deal on eBay pop up but EVERYONE thinks that they have a million dollar top car when it fact that is wrong. BE PATIENT, money talks. Keep posting your findings, good luck!

Not craigslist in Dallas.. nothing but JUNK on craigslist in Dallas.. And I would never pay the SKY HIGH prices of eBay either so I agree on the eBay quote.

I have found in east Texas driving out in the country sometimes you can find great deals on older cars that people sit out in front of their property for sale.
