Identifying a 454

Is there a place on the web that can identify a 454 Chevy block for me?

Post back the letters at the end of the VIN number string and we will see if we can ID it for you.

They may be like "TSC" or maybe just two letters?

They sometimes decode year, car/truck type, motor size, hp, maybe carb., smog and tranny type too as well as A/C or not..

Thanks guys. The number on the back on the driver side is 361959. Then it also has CM 10 T. (I think). Stamped in front on the passanger side on the little ledge is TO105TRU and then 1749 in smaller stamped numbers below and after. Underneath by the oil filter is, K hiperf pass (1 or 7)

Yes, probably a TRU, '74 P/U.

And mine that I made my 496 out of is a TSC, '75 P/U!!
