Can someone recommend the "correct" window molding install clips that
are the best to use on a 67 Chevelle rear windshield install. I know there are
several different types and some are easier to work with than others.

Ive test fitted my rear window moldings using the larger or taller type that
I bought online. These were what the resto suppliers sell as being the correct ones. I wanted to know what other people out there use because these
tall clips arent making it too easy to install the rear window moldings. Anybody
got any other types that work well let me know

thanks
John

Did you need to weld a new package tray or trunk filler panel in? Most do. That will effect the placement of the little studs for the clips. The studs should be placed so the stainless molding lies flat/even with the filler panel. To me it is obvious when done wrong since then the molding sticks out too far.
I bought the longer molding clips for the rear molding.

The tall metal clips are correct. They are spring steel and maybe tough to push the moulding under. Maybe put a small screw driver under the clip and flex it a few times to take some tension out of it. I have also found it necessary sometimes to open the clip with a clip tool to slide the moulding under the clip. Also you need to look at the angle at which you push the moulding. The angle of the moulding goes perpendicular to the glass at the bottom, but not perpendicular to the body. You must push in a different direction than the sides or top.

Confused? Don't be....It'll all make sense after you get the moulding in....
