trunk lift kits?

I asked this question about a month ago or so but no one answered me. Does anyone no of a setup to keep the trunk up when you open it. I have a 65 chevelle. I can't find a set up. It doesn't have to be power just stay open when you open it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Fab up a connection for a gas shock they are easy to come by and easy to install.

the 65 chevelle I just got has the gas strut deal in the trunk. It doesn`t work too well. I don`t think whoever did it thought it out too well. They pop riveted the brackets and now they are loose and there is only one so when it`s closed it pushes one side of the trunk lid up. i know I could remount it to fix that.
