Has anyone installed the seat extenders? My husband has a hard time getting in and out of our 67 Chevelle SS. Would this be a good investment and if so where is the best place to purchase this item. Thanks!:

Instead of the doing something to the seat do you think a tilt steering column would be better? I know it will cost more, but do you think it will give more room getting in and out?
I have a case of too much stomach. My car came with a tilt wheel and I still had a hard time getting in and out of it. I put the extenders in and it definitely helped but losing some weight would help even more. I bought the extenders from Ground Up.
Yes we have changed the steering wheel. My husband has a handicap and it is hard for him to get into and out of car. I'm wondering if you put the extenders on does the seat still go as far forward. When I drive the car I need the seat pulled up. If the seat still goes as far forward that might be the way to go. Sure would be cheaper way to go!
As far as the seat going forward as far as it did no it will be set back 2" in the forward position too. Yes, my car has a bench seat. When I bought the extenders from Ground Up they didn't know if they would work with a bench seat but they do.
