Soft feel matte clear works even better but is more expensive. Stuff slides around a little less with the soft feel stuff.

I took a different approach to clearing my spray bomb trunk paint. I used semi-gloss urethane....from Ace with a paint brush. I brushed mine. Figured there was no overspray to contend with and I could get much thicker coverage with 2 coats, which I did.

Clear coated mine as well. Used trunk kit from OPGI. Didn't know the Dupli-Color was available from my local NAPA. Sprayed new floor with PPG DP90 first, figured the black from the spatter paint would cover quicker.
