Hey guys, I'm looking for a supplier of solid almn body bushings for the chevelle, haven't had any luck on the web, or with partshouses. Have anybody used solid body bushings before, and where did you get them, who made 'em and how much. Need asap for chassis guy to move forward on my car. Thanks for the help

Coworker turned them out on the lathe at work. It was the biggest mistake he made he said. The vibration with 411 gears and a 327 make it a buzz factory. You can make them out of aluminum if you have access to a lathe. Just reporting what said was wrong with them.

does he want to sell 'em and ship them red label? lol
Its on my drag car so vibration isn't a worry since it's fully caged and solid to begin with. I just gotta get 'em before they can go foward with the work they're doing on the car.

Use hockey pucks. I have seen many oval track cars built with them so see no reason why they would not work fror a drag car.

Unfortunately I don't have the dimensions, the car is not near me, is there anywhere on the site that gives specs? or maybe someone with a frame could measure.
I also ordered a set of camaro ones from summit that competetion engineering makes, if they don't fit I'll just send 'em back
