Stroker Chevelle is a 1966 Chvelle built using all of sheetmetal from Goodmark.
it was a display car at Sema for them and ATK performance engines, its running a 408 LS3 stroker with Holley Highram Dual Terminator EFI TB on top. dyno 630 HP, Moser narrowed rearend with Wave Trax posi, Weld Racing wheels are 18" front and 20 x 11 rear with Continental tires, they car is NOT mini tubbed, Firestone Air ride custom suspension, MBM tubular control arms upper and lower, MBM disc brakes all around, MSD coil packs are controlled by the Holley's Terminator ECM computer with a Custom Wiring Harness that we built for it.
all of the sheet metal was cut off qutrs, floor, door, fender, bumpers, hood, trunk, the complete build and everything being installed is on our website customshop.org if you want t see it.
This complete build up was done in about 4 month by The Custom Shop in Flanagan IL. I hope you like it if you have any ? about the build LMK I will try and help out what I can.

Cool car and great craftsmanship

and when I say this, there is no offense meant, but the 2 things that stand out that I wouldn't do, if it were mine, is the air cleaners and graphics..... but again, looks like a LOT of time, work and care were put into this build

The panel between the radiator wall and engine compartment, is that a custom piece or is it over the counter? I like it

Same here.

nice car. quick question. ive already done panel replacement on my 66 using mostly AMD...how did the Goodmark fit? just really looking for comparison. i know most panels i got, i had little to no massaging to install. that being said....once the straightboarding starts it might be a whole new ballgame.

I checked out the build sequence your webpage (customshop.org) and have a couple questions

1. Why was a 2 piece floor pan selected vs. a 1 piece? I have a project car that needs new floors and am curious which to select.

2. The chrome braces from fenders to core support - What is their purpose?

the 2 pc floor was just better to install for me the car was not on a Rotiss. so doing it all from the top made it easier to do a two pc.
the fender brace are more for show but do add some support to stiffen the fenders up.
Goodmark was a good fit they all seem to take a little massaging to make fit really well.
hope it helps.

the condition of your floor AND the braces AND inner rockers should be looked at before deciding how to replace floor. my 66 had issues with each pan where the feet go PLUS the rear pan had issues. my bracing and rockers were solid. i used a four pc pan set, cutting what i needed for each pan. as for the rear pan, i removed the entire pc and dropped in a pc piece replacement. it was a lot of welding and grinding. i probably would have been better off doing a 1 piece replacement.

i do have a rotiss, but i dont think it matters for the floor pan. you would want to test fit to frame mounts before you weld solid if you go with 1 piece floor. last thing you want is get it all good and be proud then drop on body and mounts dont line up...:clonk:
