These guys have online quotes to give you an idea. DAS
I have never used them beyond the quote myself. When I bought my Monte out of WI with the deal I got on my plane ticket and what I paid for gas was cheaper than the quote I got from them and another shipper. All I was out was the drive time back to Oregon.

I would stay AWAY from DAS,,, I dont want to slam them on the boards but if you want to know why email me,,, I have used exotic,, passport,,road scholar,,minute mann,,with no problems,, just make sure and check the insurance coverages nomatter who you pick,,

Tha's what I heard too Nick. That's why I only use their quote deal for ballparking the price.

I used the guys at Trusty Transport http://www.trustytransport.com/ to ship my 69 from North Caroline to West Virginia for $357.00. It was cheaper than what I would have spent on renting a u-haul, gas, and the inevitable shopping trip for the wife along the way. Plus I did have to hassle with towing it up and down the hills in between. Placed the ship order on Wed, car was delivered on Sun. It was not shipped in a closed trailer, but my car was a project car and did not mind it getting a little wet. Driver even had offers at every stop he made to buy the car. With a little planning I could have actually sold along the way and made a profit instead of it sitting in the garage being a money pit......

Maybe if you bust open the yellow pages and hit up some local places. I sold a 69' Blazer a couple years back, from Sacramento to Southern CA and it was like $220 which wasnt bad, some of the big name places quotes me nearing $1000 and I also thought about UHALing it myself! It would be a good road trip. But my point here... find a place that is taking more than one car and get it on a truck with the other suckers, its alot cheaper to get a spot. Who knows.... just stay away from that commercial stuff they'll eat the wallet :D

Under no circumstances should you consider using National Auto transport. They are terrible. They tell you anything you want to hear concerning pick up dates and then won't take your calls when they fail to pick up.
